Wash Guide

Silk can be washed by hand or in a machine, if handled with care.

Machine wash: Place the garment in a laundry bag. Use a silk or delicates program (max. 30 °C). Always use a pH-neutral detergent suitable for silk, without enzymes or bleach. Choose a low or no spin cycle.
Handwash:Wash in cold or lukewarm water (max 30°C) with a detergent for silk. Gently agitate, do not rub or twist the fabric.
Avoid fabric softeners, bleach and strong detergents.

Drying

Do not wring the fabric out. Roll it in a clean towel and gently squeeze out excess liquid.
Dry flat on a dry surface, protected from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Never use a dryer.

Ironing

Use low heat (silk setting or below 110°C).
Iron on the wrong side while the fabric is slightly damp, or use a pressing cloth.
Steam can be used to gently smooth out creases.

Storage

Store silk in a cool, dry place and away from sunlight.
Avoid hanging heavy silk garments for extended periods, as this can cause them to lose their shape.
