Washing
Silk can be washed by hand or machine, if handled with care.

Machine wash:Place the garment in a laundry bag. Use a silk or delicate wash program (max 30°C). Always use a pH-neutral detergent adapted for silk, without enzymes or bleach. Choose low or no spin.
Hand wash:Wash in cold or lukewarm water (max 30°C) with a silk detergent. Stir gently, do not rub or twist the fabric.
Avoid fabric softener, bleach, and strong detergents.

Drying

Do not wring the fabric. Roll it in a clean towel and gently press out excess liquid.
Dry flat on a dry surface, protected from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Never use a tumble dryer.

Ironing

Use low heat (silk setting or below 110°C).
Iron on the reverse side while the fabric is slightly damp, or use a pressing cloth.
Steam can be used to gently smooth out creases.

Storage

Store silk in a cool, dry place, protected from sunlight.
Avoid hanging heavy silk garments for extended periods, as this can cause them to lose their shape.
Use breathable fabric bags for long-term storage; avoid plastic.
