How to use it

Style your hair first – the silk helps to hold the shape throughout the day.
Gently remove the hat – the silk slides off without pulling your hair.
A little hair oil or leave-in conditioner before putting it on provides extra protection against dry winter air.
Wash it gently when the season is over and store it in a cloth bag – then it will last for many winters.

Washing

Both cashmere and the silk lining require delicate handling.

Hand wash:Wash in cold or lukewarm water (max 30 °C) with a detergent suitable for cashmere or silk. Handle gently – do not rub or twist the fabric.
Machine wash:Place the beanie in a laundry bag. Use a wool program or delicate wash program (max 30 °C) with low or no spin.
Avoid fabric softener, bleach, and harsh detergents.

Drying

Do not wring out the beanie. Roll it in a clean towel and gently press out excess liquid.
Dry flat on a dry surface, protected from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Never use a tumble dryer – it will damage both the cashmere and the silk.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from sunlight.
Fold the beanie instead of hanging it – cashmere can stretch out with long-term hanging.
Use breathable fabric bags for long-term storage – avoid plastic.
